Monday, March 16th - County-Based Training (see below) 3-hours In-Service Training Credit
NOTE: There will be a brief Support Group Meeting starting at 6pm prior to this training. DYFS will be in attendance to discuss the new policy concerning MVR's.
Where: Harmony Presbyterian Church, 2727 Belvidere Road, Phillipsburg, NJ
Time: 6:30pm - 9:30pm
Topic: "It Could Happen To You" (this workshop will define allegations, violations of regulations and the steps and timeframes of the investigation process. The course will include important aspects, such as, ways to avoid an allegation and the appeals process. It will also touch on the range of emotional responses associated with the ramifications of the findings, whether the result is suspension or unfounded.)

Where: Fun Times for Kids, 224 Stockton Street, Phillipsburg www.funtimesforkids.com
Time: 6pm - 10pm
Cost: Members of FAFS - No Charge
Non-Members of FAFS - $20/1st child, and $17/each additional child

Topic: "Telling Your Child Difficult History" (sharing painful information about a child's history or bith family can be challenging for adopive parents. This workshop will help you develop the skills to competently tell your children difficult information and help them process it.)

Where: Land of Make Believe in Hope, NJ
Time: 9:30am - 6pm, rain or shine
Cost: Members of FAFS - $10 per person, adult or child
Non-Members of FAFS - $17 per person, adult or child
** children under the age of 2 years are free, but are limited to certain rides.
